Kit & Kat- a story of two best friends

Have you ever had a friend that you've been so close to that you can finish each others sentences? Have you ever had a friend that you've loved so much that they are like family?
Have you ever had a friend that you've been so close that you can just say one word and bust out laughing because only both you can understand why it's so funny?
Friends come and go, but you will always have that one friend you can count on for anything and everything. There will always be that one person who will be just a phone call away. That person that has your back and you have theirs.
I am talking about my best friend, Alison. It all started back in 8th grade. Well technically, we knew each other in 7th, but we couldn't stand each other. Then at the beginning of 8th grade it all changed when we had 5 out of 7 classes together. It's like we were together all day, everyday. I honestly can't even tell you how we became so close, all I know is that we probably pissed off the teachers by talking in class. We always helped each other with everything (mostly me copying her homework), and we were always there for each other when one of us needed a shoulder to cry on. We have so many memories that will forever remain in our hearts and minds. We have inside jokes that no one else could understand. We argue like sisters, but we manage to stick together. For spring break, 2013, we went to the Mall of America together. That was probably the best few days of my life. We met this waiter, Aaron, who was extremely hot. We went to the amusement park that was in the middle of the mall and we got temporary tattoos. The hotel was also pretty interesting. Especially the pool, that felt like Antarctica. You will never guess how many fun memories we've had. Like the time when we washed her porch, and dried it off with the leaf blower. Or how every time we go to the mall we save up a ton of quarters and get the juicy watermelon gumballs. We have had so many fun times together, I could write for days. Like the time we had a silly string war in my front yard... or all the times she has picked me up to go somewhere. I'm pretty sure the neighbors love hearing her from down the street, blasting Panoramic (bass boosted) at full volume. She knows about all my crazy problems, and there has not been one time that she hasn't been there when I cried. I could not ask for a better friend than Alison. We constantly cuss each other out, but we do it jokingly. I'll never forget the day we got all dressed up and went to Maggianos. Or the time when we went to the Cardinals game together and got yelled at by the old people for using too much "foul language". And who could forget that we always went to homecoming together, and brought our friend, Ethan, along. Or Mr. Stein's French class, sophomore year. What about that time the creepy old guy followed us around Victoria's Secret. I know one day she will be the maid of honor at my wedding. Which I am hoping for a long speech at the reception that brings tears to my eyes. I can't believe she has been my best friend for 4 years now, and hopefully 100 more! Love ya girly!

My Top 10 Favorite Movies

First blog for actual school credit...! I'm so excited! I have decided to write about my top ten favorite movies, and why I love them. Here it goes! Enjoy! (:

10) Forest Gump: I love Forest Gump because it tells a great story, and it is kind of made into a comedy. Tom Hanks was perfect for the part of Forest. This movie has a ton of great quotes, such as "Life is like a box of chocolates...." It is also a very inspiring movie.

9) Crazy Stupid Love: I LOVEEEEEEE this movie! It has a ton of amazing actors and actresses. This movie is very confusing at first, but after you watch it a few times, you will love it! And plus, what girl doesn't love seeing Ryan Gosling take off his shirt?

8) Taken: This movie is fantastic, perfect for an action movie. It has a great story, even though most of it is far fetched. Liam Neeson is one of my favorite actors.

7) The Breakfast Club: This movie is a CLASSIC! It is about five students who get a Saturday detention. My favorite quote from the movie is:
"Son?" "Yeah, dad?" "How was your day, son?" "Great, Dad. How's yours?" "Super. Say, how would you like to go fishing this weekend?" "Great, Dad. But I got homework to do.." "That's okay, son. You can do it on the boat." "Gee." "Hun, isn't our son swell?" "Yes, dear. Isn't life swell?" *kiss* ~John Bender

6) Magic Mike: In all honesty, this movie is awful. But hey, it's a great movie for teenage girls to watch during a sleepover... Well you know just skip to the stripping scenes, but I'm not going to admit it. This movie is where Channing Tatum become extremely popular.

5) Finding Nemo: Who doesn't love Nemo? I first saw this movie on my birthday, which I saw with a group of people from this summer camp I went to. I love how Ellen DeGeneres voices Dory.

4) The Last Song: Best movie Miley Cyrus has starred in by far! And Liam Hemsworth? The cast couldn't get any better. Neither could the movie! It is a perfect sad movie. I recommend it.

3) The Conjuring: If you are going to watch The Conjuring, it must be at night. It is the perfect horror film to cuddle up next to your sweetie and watch together... If you and your bae are as sick and twisted as me. I don't understand why people say it's one of the scariest movies ever... I mean I only peed myself 6 times... JOKING. It's honestly not that scary! Except the fact that it is based on a true story. I love this movie because I am really into the paranormal stuff.

2) The Fault In Our Stars: Call me a normal teenage girl going to see a chick flick, but hey my guy friend saw it and he cried more than I did. I am currently reading the book, and even the book has me in tears. I recommend this movie, and the book for that matter. Just make sure you bring 2 boxes of tissues.

1) We're the Millers: What's not to love about this movie? It's hysterical, but I would not recommend watching it with a little kid. What's not to love about getting away with drug smuggling? Not that I do it... JK. But this movie is going to be a classic.

BONUS!!!!!
The Parent Trap: This is one of my favorite movies of all time! The best movie Lindsey Lohan has been in before she went all psycho.
