Kit & Kat- a story of two best friends

Have you ever had a friend that you've been so close to that you can finish each others sentences? Have you ever had a friend that you've loved so much that they are like family?
Have you ever had a friend that you've been so close that you can just say one word and bust out laughing because only both you can understand why it's so funny?
Friends come and go, but you will always have that one friend you can count on for anything and everything. There will always be that one person who will be just a phone call away. That person that has your back and you have theirs.
I am talking about my best friend, Alison. It all started back in 8th grade. Well technically, we knew each other in 7th, but we couldn't stand each other. Then at the beginning of 8th grade it all changed when we had 5 out of 7 classes together. It's like we were together all day, everyday. I honestly can't even tell you how we became so close, all I know is that we probably pissed off the teachers by talking in class. We always helped each other with everything (mostly me copying her homework), and we were always there for each other when one of us needed a shoulder to cry on. We have so many memories that will forever remain in our hearts and minds. We have inside jokes that no one else could understand. We argue like sisters, but we manage to stick together. For spring break, 2013, we went to the Mall of America together. That was probably the best few days of my life. We met this waiter, Aaron, who was extremely hot. We went to the amusement park that was in the middle of the mall and we got temporary tattoos. The hotel was also pretty interesting. Especially the pool, that felt like Antarctica. You will never guess how many fun memories we've had. Like the time when we washed her porch, and dried it off with the leaf blower. Or how every time we go to the mall we save up a ton of quarters and get the juicy watermelon gumballs. We have had so many fun times together, I could write for days. Like the time we had a silly string war in my front yard... or all the times she has picked me up to go somewhere. I'm pretty sure the neighbors love hearing her from down the street, blasting Panoramic (bass boosted) at full volume. She knows about all my crazy problems, and there has not been one time that she hasn't been there when I cried. I could not ask for a better friend than Alison. We constantly cuss each other out, but we do it jokingly. I'll never forget the day we got all dressed up and went to Maggianos. Or the time when we went to the Cardinals game together and got yelled at by the old people for using too much "foul language". And who could forget that we always went to homecoming together, and brought our friend, Ethan, along. Or Mr. Stein's French class, sophomore year. What about that time the creepy old guy followed us around Victoria's Secret. I know one day she will be the maid of honor at my wedding. Which I am hoping for a long speech at the reception that brings tears to my eyes. I can't believe she has been my best friend for 4 years now, and hopefully 100 more! Love ya girly!
